Personal Identification Information

 

Morni collects personal identification information from users in various ways, including but not limited to, when users visit the application, register on the Morni application, fill out a form, complete a survey questionnaire, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we may make available on our application. Users may be asked for their full name, email address, phone number, and credit card information.

 

Non-Personal Identification Information

 

Morni may collect non-personal identification information about users whenever they interact with the application. This information may include the type of smartphone, technical information about the user's means of connection to the application, such as the internet service provider used, and other similar information.

 

How We Use Collected Information

 

Morni collects and uses users' personal information for the following purposes:

To improve customer service. Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs.

To improve the application. We continually strive to improve the offerings on our application or website based on the information and feedback we receive from you.

To send periodic emails. The email address users provide for order processing will only be used to send them information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to inquiries, or other requests or questions. If a user decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include Morni news, updates, and related application information. If at any time the user would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email, or the user may contact us via our application or website.

 

How We Protect Your Information

 

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information, and data stored on our application. Sensitive and private data exchange between Morni and its users happens over a secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with approved digital methods.

 

Sharing Your Personal Information

 

We do not sell, trade, or rent users' personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use a third-party service provider to help us operate our business and the application or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with this third party for those limited purposes, provided that you have given us your permission.

Users may find advertising or other content on our application that links to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors, and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our application. In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Morni has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page and send you an email. We encourage users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your Acceptance of These Terms

By using this application, you signify your acceptance of this policy and the terms of service. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our application. Your continued use of the application following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.

Morni tracks website users' browsing to improve and develop performance, noting that user identity or location is not monitored or exposed.

Practices differ by app as described below.
 
 
1) Morni Provider (com.morniksa.provider)
 
Background Location (On-Duty)
Morni Provider collects your precise location, including in the background (even when the app is closed or not in use) only while you are marked Online/On-duty. We use it to dispatch nearby jobs, provide live route/ETA to customers and operations, and support safety/compliance. Collection stops when you go Offline. Manage this via the in-app toggle or device Settings. We do not sell location data or use it for advertising.
 
Foreground Service & Battery
While On-duty we run a foreground location service with a persistent notification for reliable updates. We may prompt you to allow the app to ignore battery optimizations to keep tracking accurate.
 
Overlay / After Reboot
We may show a small overlay control while On-duty (you can disable this in Settings). If you were On-duty before a device restart, the app may restore required foreground services; otherwise no tracking starts.
 
Data We Collect (categories)
•Location: precise & background as described above.
•Device & app info: device model/OS, app version, network state, push token (FCM), service state.
•App activity & diagnostics: online/offline state, job/route events, analytics events, crash/diagnostic logs.
•Account & contact; files you upload: name/phone/email; optional photos/docs you choose to submit for jobs.
 
How We Use Data
Roadside assistance operations (dispatch, navigation/ETA), safety/compliance, notifications, analytics & crash reporting, fraud/abuse prevention, and support.
 
Sharing (processors/categories)
Shared only with service providers needed to operate the app—e.g., mapping and analytics/crash providers (such as Google Maps, Firebase/Bugsnag)—and operational partners to fulfill service requests. Not sold and not shared for advertising.
 
Retention
Trip and location records are kept only as long as necessary (typically up to 12 months) for operations and legal requirements, then deleted or anonymized.
 
Your Choices
Use the in-app On-duty toggle to enable/disable background location; revoke permissions or disable overlay in device Settings. For access/deletion requests: privacy@morni.com (replace with your inbox).
 
 
2) Morni (User) (com.morniksa)
 
Location While Using
Morni may collect your precise location while you use the app and during an active service request to detect your position, show nearby providers, and share ETA. It does not collect background location outside those contexts.

•Location: precise while using during requests.
•Device & app info: device model/OS, app version, network state, push token (FCM), Advertising ID where available.
•App activity & diagnostics: search/booking events, analytics, crash/diagnostic logs.
•Account & contact; files you upload: name/phone/email; optional photos/docs you choose to submit.
 
How We Use, Sharing, Retention, Your Choices
Same principles as Provider: operate service features, notifications, analytics/crash; share only with processors (maps, analytics/crash, ops partners); retain only as necessary (typically up to 12 months); manage permissions in device Settings
 
 
Security, Analytics & Updates (applies to both)
 
Security: data encrypted in transit and access-controlled.
Analytics & diagnostics: we record app events and device information to improve performance and reliability; we do not use location for advertising.
Policy updates: we may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. A link to this policy is available inside each app.

Privacy Policy – Background Location

Use of Background Location
Our app collects background location data to support core features such as real-time service tracking, efficient dispatching, and accurate arrival times. Background location is only used for service-related purposes and is not shared with third parties for marketing or unrelated activities.

Consent and Control

Background location is collected only after the user (customer or provider) grants explicit consent in the app.

Users can enable or disable background location at any time through their device settings.

Disabling background location may limit certain app features and could prevent timely service delivery.

Data Sharing
Background location data may be shared only with service providers, operations teams, or authorized partners strictly for fulfilling service requests. It is never sold or shared for advertising.

Retention
Location data is retained only for as long as needed to provide the service and comply with legal or operational requirements.
